General Meeting of the Polish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce – 14.10.2021

On the 14th of October, in the e-Estonia Briefing Centre in Tallinn the General Assembly of the Chamber was held in the further part combined with a conference with the participation of members of the Polish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce, government representatives and entrepreneurs from Poland and Estonia.

The meeting began with the formal part, which was attended by members of the Polish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting Artur Kuczmowski (Senior Partner at Thompson & Stein, a law firm operating in Poland, Estonia and the Three-Seas Region) was once again unanimously elected Chairman of the PolEstCC, also the date of the next Assembly was adopted, which will take place in June 2022.

During the formal part of the meeting new members of the Polish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce were introduced. To the group of entrepreneurs interested in doing business in Poland and Estonia and maintaining positive relations between the two countries joined: NJORD Advokaadibüroo OÜ, Cachet Insurance Broker OÜ, Industrial Development Agency, Verseo Sp. z o.o. Eesti filiaal, Ettevotluse Arendamise Sihtasutus (EAS), Arras Construction Furniture OÜ, AS Inbank S.A.- Branch in Poland, Tuliplabz OÜ, MET-INSTAL ELECTRO OÜ.

The second part of the meeting was focused on discussions of entrepreneurs from Poland and Estonia, who talked about the future of Polish-Estonian relations, realization of international projects and mutual expectations regarding activities on the territory of both countries.

The open part of the meeting was opened by the speech of the Ambassador Grzegorz Kozłowski from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tallinn, who emphasized the importance of positive relations and economic relations between Poland and Estonia.

The discussion panels concerned:

  • The future of Polish-Estonian relations – the panel was attended by Mr. Ambassador of the Polish Embassy in Tallinn, Director General of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jüri Seilenthal and Board Members of the Polish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce – Waldemar Król (PKN Orlen), Artur Kuczmowski (Thompson&Stein).
  • The panel dedicated to construction companies was attended by representatives of Grupa Azoty and construction company Gleeds. The panel was chaired by Artur Kuczmowski.
    • The last panel concerned the expectations of Estonian entities entering the Polish market. The panel was attended by representatives of the companies: Elenger, EAS – Enterprise Estonia and Hugo Legal. The panel was moderated by Waldemar Król (Member of the PolEstCC Board). 

New members of the Polish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce had the honor of receiving their membership diplomas during a formal Reception at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tallinn.

The celebration of the 1st anniversary of the Polish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce ended with an evening meeting during the #PolEstBusinessMixer.
